TOMORROW IWR FIRST DAYNine races on 3 different sail areas for 420,470, Laser and L≠Equipe

Everything is ready for the beginning of the 19th Imperia Winter Regatta: the event will be held once again in Oneglia Harbour from 4th to 7th December 2008 with the organization of Yacht Club Imperia and 14 countries will be represented (Algeria, Austria, Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Monaco, Netherlands, Slovenia, Switzerland, UK ) by more the 400 sailors.
The sailors will take part to the event sailing 420 (open and female), olympic 470 (male and female) and Laser Standard (male), Laser Radial (male and female) classes.
Youngest teams will take parte in the L≠Equipe International Meeting.
Tomorrow 4th December registration of teams is scheduled all the day long in the headquarter at Oneglia Harbour while at sea a practice race will be sailed to test the sail area.
On the following days - from Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th December - a maximum of 9 races is scheduled for all racing classes.
The opening ceremony will be held on Friday 5th December after the races at 5.00pm at headquarter in Oneglia Harbour.
Races of 19th Imperia Winter Regatta will be managed by an International Jury (officials coming from Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Israel and Italy) while at see the Race Committe will be managed by Italian officials.
The IWR is an ISAF Grade 3 event.
